use whatever works for your desired clearances. we can't tell you if you can use the standards or not.

if your rods are good and crank hasn't been turned , std size bearings will be fine.

have supervision (from someone more experiance) when you put it togther..... if not things could wrong very fast.

If you want to know what size bearings you need, you can either measure the crank yourself or take it to machine shop and they'll do it for you.

As for brands on bearings, I've used king bearings, acl bearings, and oem bearings. All of them worked good for me, you just have to measure your clearance properly and you shouldn't have to worry.

I've had some bad luck with ACL my self so I use King instead. Also I was told by my machine shop guy that ACL changed their material recently and now they are crap. Please don't quote me I'm just sharing my experience and what I've heard.

Honestly I would stay away from base duraglide acl because they are now made in china and some of the thickness of the bearings varies to much. Run the race bearings is you want the good Australian built products. Plus you have the ability to get an extra half thou from swapping a half shell to a hx bearing.

^^^ dead on. ACL race bearings will work with most applications but you will need to check your clearances to verify.

I like the ACL Race bearings. I use them in almost everything, but honestly, I buy whatever brand is cheapest lol.
