Cleaning out the garage and trying to make some cash. I'm no Honda guru by any means so please bear with me and try not to give me any smarta** comments.

First of all, I have valvetrain parts from a B16 PR-3 head. Purchased a head from DH-Racing (I know, bad idea!), and luckily I received *most of* what I thought I was purchasing. Anyways, had gotten a ported/polished head with his dual valve springs + retainers, the Ferrea 6000 series STD size valves, and CTR cams. Well I ended up getting (99.99% positive anyways) an '00 ITR intake cam and the same old 89-91 B16A exhaust cam. So long story short, good ol' Mr Dickman had ported/polished a 'lil too much near one of the coolant ports and ended up developing a crack in the head a bit before 10k miles. So I'm trying to salvage whats left here. The valves, springs, retainers and cams are all in really good condition, minus the VERY MINIMAL marks you'll see in the pics. So.....

Next I have the Ferrea valves marked F6048 & F6049. Just cleaned all the valves with a soaking of Berryman's Chem-Dip and thin a quick brushing with the wire wheel. All of these valves are in EXCELLENT shape with the exception of 2 of the exhaust valves, you can see a VERY MINOR score mark at the end of 1 in the pics, and the other has a mark similar but not as bad (not in pic). After cleaning the valves I've found that from the crack in the water jacket the exhaust valves have experienced some MINOR pitting (see pics). Any machine shop can fix these for cheap (my semi-local guy said he'd do it for $1/valve, but I don't want to drive a total of 6 hours to get it done and pick them back up)...... F***ING DEADBEAT BUYERS!!!! DON'T WASTE MY TIME IF YOU DON'T PLAN ON PAYING OR WANT TO HAGGLE OR SQUABBLE!!!

For the last of the valvetrain I have the dual springs, retainers, and keepers. These are all from DH-Racing and have no markings on anything. No idea if they're steel, or titanium, but each one weighs 14g. They all look to be in perfect condition with no wearing or scoring (yes they're dirty)....... F***ING DEADBEAT BUYERS!!!! DON'T WASTE MY TIME IF YOU DON'T PLAN ON PAYING OR WANT TO HAGGLE OR SQUABBLE!!!

What r u doin with the head itself? And do u think it can b repaired?

 

I'm gonna be taking it to my buddy to have him go thru and see if he can fix it. If he can fix it, I'm keeping it and re-building it for NA application.

Too bad those valves aren't flat faced....gl w getn me bumps around here, ive gotten almost 300 views n not 1 bump besides a guy that pm'd me. Ill bump it up for ya tho!

I'll bump for viewing and on the head I've always been told if it gets over ported it can be welded up and ported back out but I'm not 100% on that just my 2 cents any ways bump for jooo
