Well my dx is beyond repair at this time, so looks like I'm getting a new beater/DD. I'm not concerned about the engine/body I know the obv things to lookout for. What I'm asking is what nasty little tricks have you guys seen sellers use to cover things up on sale day ?, ziptied washer bottles glued interior panels etc.

I bought my integra knowing it would be a track car, but I need this to be reliable and able to pass safety.

Snapped lca bolts.
Bought a civic once and later insoected it at my hous. The head of the bold was snapped and the nut to hold the bolt down was grinded off. Super sketch

 

Manual window regulators
Temporarily repairing a overheating problem/blown headgasket
A/C leak, but filled up with freon a day before
Snapped LCA bolts
Hood release
CEL bulb removed (Make sure CEL blinks when turning ignition)
Cracked Y7 exhaust manifold, Y8 96-98 and annoying P0420

-Take a magnet for the rear quarter panels lol "rust free" my ***.

-"It needs an alignment" aka subframe/cradle is bent and will never get a proper alignment, so check accident history.

 

Fresh oil change to cover up an oil burning issue. Thats how I got screwed on my EK.
