Sway bars that fit on civic dx models?
Hey whats up honda-tech i just put new struts and springs on my car and feel its time to install some sway bars for a little less body roll.
Now my question is can anyone point me in the direction of where to find sway bars that were made to fit civic models that never came with a factory sway bar in the front or rear?
Ive gone through forums and i found out suspension techniques makes a kit but i cannot find it anywhere online and eibach used to make a kit for the dx but its discontinued.
This is what im talking about http://www.civic-eg.com/viewtopic.ph...er=asc&start=0 , any help you guys could offer would be greatly appreciated thanks.

If your car did not come with an OEM sway bar, then you would need the brackets from a model that did.
EXAMPLE: 96-00 civic would use brackets from a 99-00 Si.
OR you can get a sub-frame brace and use a generic style bushing/bracket.

oh sorry, the car is a 1993 eh2 hatchback.
And i did look around on d-series.org civic-eg.com and on here and i found some threads on the subject but i cant find out where to get them or if anyone still makes the sway bars that fit on dx control arms.

get 94-01 integra non type r rear LCA, then you can use factory sway bars from the teg, civic or del sol, you can use the type r sway bar but you will need some form of sub frame reinforcement
for the front you can do the same, get lca from a 94-01 teg or 92-95 civic ex/si had the mounts for the front then pick the factory bar you want
imo the factory stuff fits way better than any of the aftermarket setups

I got a 14mm bar from a 98 ls I think? well its the 14mm one and I got the lcas with the sway bar and all hardware for 20 bucks. while its not a big bar that and the poly bushings in the rear control arms made a huge difference compared to worn bushings and no sway bar at all. just remember if you get a bigger one youll need something to brace the subframe with so you don't get any tear out, ive read of that happening
