Default 88 hatch sometimes runs on 3 cylinders

I was driving on the freeway today and noticed my would kinda start to hesitate. Example: im doin 65mph running on all four I can easily accelerate and hit 70 no problem, but if it shook like it just lost a cylinder if I punch the gas full throttle it wont go anywhere it will take quite awhike to reach 67, then it will shake back to all 4 and feel like vtec cracked on my non v. Thats my problem.

History of the car: its stock motor 236xxx or somethin high like that, last known service was 07, i replaced the spark plugs old ones were effed, didnt fix my problem but it did sound alot better. It was converted to multi port, thats about all the info I have on it, and its throwing no cel.

All advice will be helpful, and im doing the tune up this week on my day off im gonna do a full service on it just wanna know wat to check out just incase the tuneup doesnt fix my problem.
Im also the side of buying a single v somethin with 140 or somewhere around there. thats also on the table. Cause im thinking the tuneup will cost as much as a new swap

If you made a MPFI conversion, than maybe there is a problem with the wire you routed for the injectors ???
