Power folding mirror problem

Hey what's up everyone. I'm sure this question has been asked a million times but this ones a little different. I have a genuine ef8 but it didn't come with mirrors when I bought it but all the wiring, relay and switch was there. I picked up some mirrors locally. He was kind enough to bring them to me still on his car so it was verified that the glass moved as well as they folded perfectly.
There were two plugs coming off the harness, one with three pins and one with two pins. He only had the one with three pins plugged in and they still worked so I didn't think anything of it. I assumed they would be plug and play since I had everything on my car already.
Fast forward to tonight I go to plug them into my car and the mirror portion works but they do not fold. I'm assuming this has something to do with the two pin connector. One wire is black and the other is red so I'm assuming the black is a ground but not sure about the red.
Anyone got any suggestions on what to do from here? I do not have another plug on my vehicle harness.
Thanks in advance

Yes, the two-pin molex plug is for the "folding action".
It sounds like your car was never equipped with power folding mirrors, just power mirrors. You can run an additional two wires thru your doors and wire them up but you'll need the switch and relay. You should be able to find them on eBay; they come up for auction once in a while still but I'd be prepared for a bit of a wait.
For a really clean install, you can order the pins from Honda and use a molex plug from a junkyard... I don't think Honda sells the plugs separately... OR you can obtain the dual-pin molex plugs/pigtail from the junkyard and splice longer wires onto that.

Thanks for the feedback. I figured that was what it was from the threads I been reading. I have the switch and the relay though and every pin on the back of the switch connector is filled.
