How much Warp on block ignorable?
To start with, I need a car to to commute in my area for any job. The financial situation is bad, too.
The plan: I'll tow it to a machine shop, and measure the warp. If less than four thousandth of an inch, I plan to install the milled head. If not, I don't know what the f*** I'd have to do.
Any way.
Previously: overheating -> new head gasket -> coolant lost & white smoke
->> I'm suspecting cracked head or block warp. Compression are high, and differences are 10% with each other. Expecting cylinder wall to be fine, at least.
If head is okay and block is fine, I plan to do a leak down test.

Decks are generally too thin to warp per say and need not be addressed in a usual overheat. Though, decking will restore the block and give a tiny bump in compression. Timing marks will be a tiny off too afterwards.
