I just had a new steering rack installed by a Honda dealer and the steering wheel does not return to straight after making a turn. You have to manually turn the wheel out of the turn. Any thoughts?

 

Have them check the alignment.

 

Alignment was done at the dealer. I'm glad your child arrived the other day, in the usual way....Not that it has anything to do with a steering rack! Maybe wait till your buzz wears off before wasting peoples time

 

Alignment it sounds like.

 

If you have the alignment paperwork make sure the caster values are within spec. If they are then there might be something faulty with the new rack. Sounds like something is blocking the fluid from releasing pressure.
