My original ragtop is getting worn... Has anyone had their original top replaced with the newer (glass window) mechanism and top? How much am I looking at spending?

You can buy my 03' top that is brand new. It was installed but never used. Replaced because the old top was cut and seats stolen. Hardtop after.

 

best bet is to use a robbins glass conversion top

 

I have a 2001 S2000, the top was starting to split and I replaced it with a factory (Honda) 2002 top w/glass window, no problems, no leaks, same fit. The top with the glass window was actually less $$ than the original top with the plastic window. I'm much happier, better visibility, no yellowing, looks great. Good luck

Another vote for going with the glass. Upgraded my '01 and no problems with fitment.

 

They'll soon be another alternative available for the S2000 community...
