Wassup everyone i have a 2000 honda accord "Special Edition", Outside of the issue the car runs perfectly fine,

NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON

BUT..The car wont let me go past 4000 rpm

i was told maybe vtec selinoid, maybe sensor..

PLEASE Help

 

this tends to be either distributor sensors or vtec malfunction but strangely more times than none people have a really hard time nailing it down...you can first check if your oil pan is dented ....if not if it were me I would try to find a used distributor to try out

you can also try to have your obd scanned for codes...sometimes they will be stored but won't actually illuminate the check engine light...also your check engine bulb could be burned out
