Ok, so I bought an ls cable trans out of a 95 integra, and the mechanic says it doesn't fit and my motor is a b20b. He says it has a different bolt pattern, as in it doesn't line up, but I thought all b series fit other b series for the most part. What trans do I need?

 

ok well first of all a 95 integra should have been a hydro tranny, so already i have no idea what you are working with. long story short it all fits. if that cable trans is a 90-91 with the lower spline count you need the clutch disk to match. 92+ should all fit together externally

 

bolt patterns are the same, cable or hydro. a b series transmission will bolt to any b series. (maybe not the b20a out of the prelude though)

That's what I don't get, I'll head up to the shop tomorrow and try to figure this out

 

maybe you have a d series tranny.
