I just installed a b7 head on a z6 block. It all lined up everything seems fine. Will i be okay or was i supposed to open oil ports or somthing of the sort? Please answer back thanks

 

Do you have the correct ECU and have the VTEC sol/oil pressure switch hooked up ? if so you're good to go.

 

I have the stock vtech ecu. And were is the pressure switch located?

 

He did it backwards. Check the FAQ, I did a write up on exactly this specific combo and the oil control issue is covered in it.

 

So it should be fine?

You literally did it backwards you NEED a VTEC head you have a NON-VTEC head....so you will not have vtec at this point no matter what with that current head. Go find a z6 or y8 head, the whole "mini me swap" is putting a vtec head on a non-vtec engine block.
