Can someone post a picture of their slave cylinder when its fully open. my clutch feels kind of soft and I want to know if my slave cylinder is opening all of the way or if my clutch needs to be bled.

 

open,,, ? it pushes a rod against/into the clutch release fork that's how it operates and why not just bleed it takes a few mins. Look at the CMC and CSC to see if they're leaking easy to tell.

 

yes I know open pushed whatever. how far is the rod supposed to be pushed?

 

There is no 100% measure meant pedal adjustment play into it so I can't give you an exact mm spec. However a 100% test is can you go threw all the gears when the car is on and parked with your foot on the clutch without it getting stuck/not going in. if it has issues doing that bleed it and adjust the pedal.

 

it will not go into 2 3 or 4 when it is on and stationary.
