Default body work on daily driver

i see guys driving with chunks of bondo hangin on their panels and a sprinkle of paint over it.

but bondo will absorb water if daily driving with it exposed.

i dont have time to do the body work all at once and paint the car right away that will take like 3-4 days.

what can i do to fix it panel by panel then do final sanding and prep right before painting..

can i use primer sealer or epoxy paint to seal the bondo for time being?

or any other spray can can seal it up temporarily for like 4-5 months or less?

the hood and fender need some decent bondo work and other panels need alot of dings fixed.

You can do it in a step by step process if you want. Just dont leave bare metal or open bodywork. Feather the paint back like normal and block your bodywork out, use a decent primer (thermal set, nothing out of a rattle can) but dont block out the primer. Leave some guide coat on it until your ready for base and clear.

depending how much decent is to you I would suggest buying replacement for both of those. it will be cheaper in the long run

Epoxy is non porous, just spray or roll it on and let it fully cure. But any primer put on to seal, will need to be sanded 80-90% back off and re primed as primer has no UV protection.

I replaced both the front fenders on my car with new parts off Ebay for 120 total. I dont think that is a bad price to know that I dont have any Bondo that I probably would have screwed up and had to redo a few times.
