Default Ends Of Exhaust Manifold Are A Little Moist

Hey guys, sorry if there is another post recently like this one. I searched and couldn't quite find one. I noticed today that my 95 Accord EX 2.2 VTEC's exhaust manifold looks to be a little moist on each end, but not in the middle so much. Is this most likely the exhaust manifold gasket going bad, or could it be a head gasket? If someone explains to me how to post a picture, I'll be happy to post one tomorrow when I get off of work when it's daylight. Thanks for any help or advice y'all may be able to give.

open an account at photobucket and upload a picture and then grab the url of your picture and post it here

however I think you might be talking about the intake manifold...the exhaust gets so hot i can't imagine it actually getting wet

Sorry, showing my experience with these motors I reckon. It looks as if the valve cover gasket is bad and it's leaking some oil onto the intake manifold, and I'm not asking for someone to diagnose it, but I wanted to know if there are any problems that the 2.2 VTEC motors like in my 95 that they're notorious for. Thank you for telling me that, you're the first person that's told me how to, and I've been asking for three or four posts now.

Reading back, I guess I did make myself sound like a dumbass...no more posting on Honda-Tech when I'm half asleep lol. I can only imagine what other users thought when they read my title.

The non-vtec motors have issues with the "spark plug tube seals" but you have the vtec motor so you don't have to worry about it.

When replacing the valve cover gasket you just need to make sure the mating area is completely free of any oil/debris to be able to get a good seal. You can use carb cleaner.
