My Wife traded in her lease of a 2011 camry with 38,000 miles on it for an Acura MDX with 100,000 miles on it. She is a stay at home mom and we only uses this vehicle to haul this kids and her family around. I was not happy with her pick although I like the SUV I just didnt like the miles.

I have been a member of this site for a while but have not frequented this site much since the sale of my Accord about 4 years ago.

I want to do a transmission drain and fill because I do not know the history of the transmission.
I know Honda's if I am not mistaken usually stick with Honda ATF. Is the dealership the best place to buy it? Also is there a drain plug? I have not been under the car yet.

Use only atf dw-1 fluid from honda or acura
There is a drain bolt on the bottom of trans that accepts 3/8 ratchet
There is a fill plug on top of trans
Look down by the brake master you will see a big bolt 17mm
