Default what is front "flange hardware" for intermediate resonator pipe.

I have an exhaust leak in the intermediate resonator pipe. I find the pipe online but they all say "Does not include front flange hardware" I need to know what is the hardware and also can I just buy this pipe and use what I already have in my vehicle? Thanks for reading, all input is welcome.

it means no studs or bolts. some of these pipes come from the factory with studs pressed into the flange. if they become rusted or are pressed into the part your replacing, you'll need replacement fasteners of some sort. grade 8 (ISO 10.9) bolts with lock nuts or lock washers work fine if you can't reuse the originals. you may or may not also need a gasket. your local auto parts stores should have something you can use.

Thanks for the reply. My friend gave me an idea. He told me to go to a muffler shop and have then cut out the rotted section and weld a pipe in. Im considering the idea, if not ill purchase the pipe online.
