Default B16B timing question

hey guys brand new user and relatively new to the honda scene. Ive had a 96 Civic Type R for a few months as my (DD) and just got done building my 94 355ci Solid Roller LT1 Z28 Camaro. Now im interested into speed as far as honda. I use to hate them, now I see the potential. But my question is how many degrees can I advance and pull just by pulling or pushing the distributor? Lol it was kind of a surprise when I found out we can do it physically free & easy. Im use to it being done by computer tuned on my LT1.

Anyways hope ill learn a lot more about these cars.

Thanks

as much as you want until it starts knocking realistically, as for actual degree numbers I'm not sure, just jump the service connector before you adjust it tho.

As B_swaped state, it can be done but by two degrees + or - Because this are the only two additional marks in the crank pulley. Cam pulleys give you another way to take advance of time but speaking of a b16b a really tuned engine from factory.

The real way to do it, is with a programmable system where you can adjust time and fuel and get the full advantage of it in real time, monitoring all the parameters of the engine. Now working with Hondas you not have to spend top dollar to get a programmable system, Neptune or Hondata runs by the $600.00 not $1,500 like Haltech or Motec plus wiring job.
