bypass transmission cooler?

Default bypass transmission cooler?

its pretty cold here lately but theirs a leak from the 90 that goes onto the transmission but its leaking and nobody has this part..


could i bypass the cooler till summer time? 98 accord 4cyl.

It needs to cooler, so fix it? Or go to a junkyard and get one.

Bypass the cooler and the trans will cook itself.
If the 90° is leaking it may just be loose, have you tried tightening it or is it physically damaged?

Purchase an auxiliary cooler and bypass the radiator cooler.

Or better yet, if the trans cooler inside the radiator is failing, then the radiator is probably on its way out as well purchase a new Denso unit from RockAuto for 60 bucks.

Its a new radiator the 90 is screwed all up, My Genius Brother Likes to Torque Stuff that dont need to be like the Valve cover,we tried to reflare it out but no go. Gonna try a JY tomorrow if no go then External Cooler it will be.

It's $60 for a new Denso, why would you not want to get one ? That can not in any way shape or form be any less convenient than any other alternative. Period.

btw, thanks mike, I can't believe I never noticed a Denso unit is so cheap. I got an aftermarket and this lower hose outlet is too small which has caused issues getting hoses to not leak.
