Icon2 Very Bad Fuel Milage

Have 92 Accord with F18B VTEC Engine. I have
cleaned spark plugs
new cables
Cleaned Distributor
New Air Filter

My car is giving approximately 300 KM in full 65 Liters of tank. This is freaking me out when i see 1.8 giving fuel consumption.

The only thing i see is that this engine is managed by a F23A ECU. Can it make any difference because when car is in closed loop operation then O2 would make ECU Adjust fuel Mixture

Wow, that's less than half the consumption than it would normally get.

Was the F23 ECU ever tuned to work with the F18 drivetrain?

If the F23 ECU is not retuned for the F18 albeit the fuel tables and timing curves are not optimized for the .5 litre difference in engine sizes.

What do the spark plugs look like? Are they light brown, dark brown, wet or white?

Why are you using a F23 ECU on the F18?

Nops its stock ECU never tuned. Never Optimized. The car has Knock Sensor Malfunction Issue too because KS came in F23A not F18B. I can barely hit 120km/h.

Last time i checked them spark plugs were light brown.

When i start the car there comes splashes of water from exhaust at idle

This is most likely your problem. If the ECU does not 'see' the knock sensor circuit then it probably is in some form of 'limp' mode to protect the engine from potential harm. This would affect power and fuel efficiency.

Replace the ECU with one that would better match your car, either an F18B ECU or F22B1 ECU.

That's good that the engine is not running rich. But it does not mean the timing and fuel tables are optimal.

This is a normal byproduct of the combustion process.
Ideally in a perfect combustion, the only emissions would be H2O, CO2, N2.

Without using the original ecu you will need a chipped and tuned ecu to run that motor properly. I've said this in numerous threads you've started already.

No Tuning facilities available here in my country. If you go and ask it. They laugh at us when we say something like this.

Then the ONLY solution would be to find another F18B ECU.

So Today I purchased a F18B JDM ECU. The check light for KS gone. Car behaving awesome. Increased Power + I can see VTEC Kicking in (Placed light in Cluster).

The strange thing is. When car starts RPM remains 500 and after that time ECU tunes and makes it to 700. Some time initially hesitation is there. If i start car leave it for some time it sets up itself and then runs fine.

If i start the car and instantly start driving the car runs like crap even with VTEC. I can hear Baaaawwwwwwwww sound like butterfly is open but lags fuel, I suspect i need to check the fuel pressure. Also My TPS rite now at closed Throttle shows 4.5. Ill re calibrate these and would post results.

When i rev car to 6500 RPM at rev limiter i sometime see black smoke........ is 02 Bad?
