It makes a clicking noise, I know I F'd it up but what is it? I know im still a noob. lol I know its not the cv axle.

 

Thats is your inner tie rod and inner tie rod boot

 

Thanks man, I hit a nasty dip today and it ripped the boot off. Im guessing it was old and ready to go anyway?

 

That is the dust boot where your steering rack and tie rod end meet, not sure what model this is but there is a bar inside your steering rack that has a plastic bushing that separates the bar and what it is housed inside (rack) and what happens is that plastic piece breaks and falls out of place. This will cause a clunking sound when your wheel hits a bump or most likely when angling into a driveway, that is when I notice it most. Not to hard to fix if this is the cause of your problem. Just be sure to use a service manual and take you time. Hope this helps!
