The annoying airbag light came on during heavy acceleration......
Short of putting tape over it, any advice on getting rid of it? Holiday season and all it be a week before I could visit a dealer

What caused it to turn on in the first place? You can't make the light go away without fixing the underlying issue.

Aren't all of the SRS sensors "G sensors"? There's quite a few of them, too. I was surprised the places I was finding SRS sensors in when working on my Civic.

Underlying issue? I was driving like a jackass so the only thing that comes to mind is that a sensor could have been jerked around, that being said my navigation system is also acting up, it's currently reading that the dvd reader isn't functioning and I should go see a dealer

The light just came on when driving? That's weird. Have you done electrical work on the car recently? Maybe a loose clip or ground somewhere?
