01 Accord 5spd clutch line/hose discontinued?
I have a friend with a 01 Accord 5spd that managed to break the brass adapter that is on the slave cylinder end of the hydraulic line for the clutch. He tells me that the dealer tells him that the adapter or the adapter/line assembly is no longer available, but that a new line that requires the replacement of the slave cylinder is available. Has anybody else had this problem? Is there a less expensive work-around or maybe a part from a different model that will work?
Go here: http://www.hondapartscheap.com/index.php?p=home enter the vehicle info and look under clutch master cylinder. Nothing seems to be dis-continued.
Assuming that this is your exact model, print out a copy of this diagram and take it to that dealer.
