rsx wiring help
Hello im trying to eliminate all the wires possible i can the car isnt gonna have dash or no lights with fuel cell external fuel pump now do i need any wires under dash? Also under the cam sensors on the plastic wiring cover theres about 20 wires go into a plug that just sits ontop of the plastic cover what is that
Not sure why this is in the drag section...
The plastic plug on the factory harness is a distribution block, it has both Power and Grounds in it shared by a variety of sensors or relays.
As far as the wiring, you can remove it all, and only add back in the wiring you need. You are going to save a ton of weight and be able to have a much more functional setup for a race car.
Hit up a harness builder or wiring expert like Joel at RaceSpec and they generally help you out much better.
