steering issue
Posting this for my brother, he has an 95 hatch and just had the upper and lower ball joints replaced along with outer tie rods and redid the bushings with energy suspension bushings. the steering is very loose and the car swerves while driving especially when hitting bumps. that car was just aligned after the changes as well. any other ideas on what to check would be appreciated.
Well, so much work has been done it's gonna be hard to pinpoint.
Everything that was removed will have to be checked for proper workmanship.
Could be a loose wheel(s), ball joints improperly fitted in control arms, like not tightly pressed in and clipped, tie rods not tight, loose control arm mounts up top, bad alignment.
Just a lot of variables.

Sounds like a poor alignment or improper installation of parts causing a pull. Where did he go for alignment ? Did they get it exact to factory specs or just in the green zone ballpark that most alignment shops do ?
