Default No Compression,Head Gasket Questions...

its a 98 accord with 130xxx miles, Guy i bought it from said water was coming out tail pipe bad, It wont start anymore, it was hydro locked i poured ATF in the cylnders and it broke loose with breaker bar, when i cranked it without spark plugs it threw alot of water out of one the cylnders, after that i did a compression check and had 0 Across the board... I been trying to crank it but notthing and also no more water is getting into the cylnders i flushed out with gasoline.

Im Not Too Familar With The Accord Engines, But What are the possibilities that its just a blown head Gasket? Cracked Head? Not Cracked Block...

its the 4cyl Vtec.

With no plugs in and cranking it with my hand over each cylnder spark plug hole it had quite a kick so its possible my Compression Gauge isnt Working Properly Because i dropped it years ago and been sitting since in its case.

Google "Hydrolock" and you will see the possibilities.

if you can feel pressure then its shouldn't be too bad.
if you question your testing tool, do it with a known good one.

hydrolocking is definitely not good but a motor can be salvaged from it.

does your compression tester have the SHRADER valve installed in it?

you should still have SOME compression even if you had bent valves, or shot rings
