Default running resistor box with high impedance injectors

So, as the title says. My car has high impedance injectors and still has the resistor box plugged in. Can find an answer to the question. Can't find this exact question either.
My car is running lean according to emission test. Wondering if this is the cause.

I've always heard if you run a resistor box and high impedance injectors, it will fry the injector drivers in the ecu. I've not ever seen this personally. I have high impedance injectors in my obd0 mpfi swap, but there is a dead end plug that is plugged in where the resistor box would normally go that runs all the wires together.

I am going through the same **** on my car and from what I am being told is that you need to remove the resistor box and jump the cables to a 12v source so they run at 12v instead of 4 i believe it is

Resistor box + high imp injectors is not correct, bypass the resistor box or run low imp injectors. Since you already know you have this wrong and it is related to your problem fix this first.
