weathered window rubbers
Would like to restore my rear window rubbers. They have become quite weathered, any suggestions or is there any place that sells them. Acura has discontinued them in Canada.Seems like you get the complete window assembly ,Also do the USDM ones say Acura or Honda.

You can use a detail product called ClearKote Vanilla Moose Wax Hand Glaze.

You rub it on and you'll remove the dried black rubber. Let it dry and rub it off. You will need to repeat a few times, to get as much of the dried rubber off, as you can.
I did mine 3 times and now regularly once every month.

What I did on mine was tape them off and used a red scotch pad from auto paint supply store and wetsanded them with simple green and then went over with a real fine sand paper. From there you can either use duplicolor flexible bumper paint as it is made to adhere to thermoplastic rubber or you can use a product like back to black if you choose not to paint them.
