What starter for B17 trans?

What starter for B17 trans?
I have a B18C1 with a B17 manual cable trans in my 90 ED6 and I need a new starter. Would I be alright just buying a B18C1 starter, or is there a specific one I should get? Thanks!

i dont see why a any 5 speed b series starter wouldnt work.
but you could also take your starter to the parts store and have them check if they are the same before you buy it.

Any '92+ manual B-series starter should work, not sure if '90 - '91 will or not. When in doubt match the starter with the trans, not the engine.
