Default Expo set-up CR-V or Element pic thread

Hello everyone Im new to the site. Been a long time toyota fan but have always been very intrigued by the little CR-V. Anyways gave my Runner to my son for college and aquired a 98 CR-V I plan to set up for me and my wifes fishing trips and for all our trail and camping trips as well. Of course I know these little SUVs aren't serious offroad machines but I also know they are great overachievers.. Anyways was looking for set-ups that others might have to get some I deas for my own CR-V. I will also keep everyone posted on the progress I make in case someone else has same idea or plan I do..
Thanks again and great forum you guys have here...

As the V sits right now...

What its replacing..

Yep, shoulda kept the yota..

There are 2 threads for you to look at - one lifted and one lowered. No need to start another "setup" thread. Both of those were recently updated.

Thnx guys and yea I hear ya on keepin the Runner, but he's been a really good kid and been driving a POS Grand Prix he actually bought on his own since high school. Car was on its last leg so I gave him my Runner and sold the Prix.. I already have a 100 series Landcruiser (LX470 to be exact) so givin him the Runner made more sense. Plus we hope to make Ouray next summer on our Yotas so the V will have a purpose as well. Me and my wife do alot of fishing so a gas friendly car fits our needs better than having 2 guzzlers..

Here's a pic of the Hundy...

both the Cruiser and the Runner..

Well fellas gotta say great site here but apparently my son wasn't happy with getting 19mpg from the 4runner and asked if i would trade him for the CR-V lol.. anyways I told him yes so we both ended up happy. Not sure how the V would have ended up but I honestly was starting to enjoy it and was somewhat getting attached to it. Anyways my 4runner has always been my all time favorite ride so im not sure if my son just fell sorry for me but for what its worth I talked to him last night and he said he likes the fact the needle doesn't move on the gas gauge every time he goes somewhere.. Hope to see you guys out on the trail some time...
