does anyone know about this? whether they will fit? the guy selling specifically says they are for 92-95 and people have been telling me they really fit 88-00, much like other coilovers that do fit all years...please i need to know for sure!!

and part#'s for the years are different on the GC website.

 

I think the front ones will but I'm not sure about the rear. Of course I could be totally wrong. Why not just buy the ones for your year?

 

because i have a brand new pair from a friend sitting here and i was going to sell them until i found out that they may fit 88-91. But i don't want to open them up and try them out, making them used and worth less, until i find out whether they will really work.

 

im prety sure the front would work fine but not positive

 

when i bought my skunk2 coilovers the box said 88-00 civic so i believe that the ones you are talking about would work on front and back.

 

they'll work front and back.
you just have to use thinner o-rings than you would on the 88-91 struts.

By thinner O-rings he means, that rubber ring that your suppose to put over your shocks,beofr eyou put the coils on the shocks, comes in various sizes w/ the coilovers. Keeps them form wobbling back and forth. But the Coils should fit 88-00 with no problem.

Who sells the thinner O-rings, I have 92-95 Groudn Control's on my hatchback right now. I would love to put them on mym crx hehe and give the hatch the crx springs.

 

Yes, the coil-overs will but will vary on the spring rates.

And no, springs it self will not work. Too tall not enough drop, found this out this weekend.
