Default 88-91 ground controls fit 92+ civics?

Will 88-91 ground control coilovers fit on 92+ civics? I know the numbers in the rear match, but the fronts on the 92+'s are a little shorter. The question is, are they too short to fit??

Thanks

I'm running that setup now, it should work. You might not be able to use the O-rings cause the EG shocks are thicker. I was only able to use one.

I think they're the same price.
I know a guy whos got a set of coils for 89-91 civic/crx, just wanted to know if they fit before I buy them.

But if they fit I'm gonna grab them. Another question....do coilovers need a spring compressor to install?

Thanks for the help.

Its going to work except that the spring rates going to be different. Meaning it may ride somewhat different on a 92+ Civic thant the crx.

A little stiffness is alright, just dont want to car to hurt after going over bumps.

So do coilovers need a spring compressor or what?

to take off the stock springs...yes you need them. To put on the coilovers you dont need them the springs are short and stiff not long and soft like the stock ones.
