You should start with at least a K series engine.

This thread seems very trolly. Try the K-series subforum. This has been done, but I don't see why a 6-speed trans makes for any better of a daily driver? I liked my 4 speed for around town. It may be slow, but you don't shift nearly as much.

But trying to get back on topic... OP if you are serious about it, check out k20a.org and definitely hybrid racing. K swapping one of these sedans might be almost exactly the same as swapping an EF hatch, and hybrid racing for sure has kits for that. (I'm not 100% sure how accurate my last sentence is, so don't hold me to it. Go to their website and verify it yourself, since typing this is apparently easier than taking 2 minutes and checking for you.)

Lol as you can see it is very hard to get an answer on here. I am doing a K Swap in my hatchback and here is the best way to start in my opinion. Make sure you do all your research before jumping into it. This is not as simple as other popular swaps. Hybrid Racing has a very detailed summary on K Swaps for all popular platforms. Go on their website and request a K Swap builders guide. If you spend time reading through it Hybrid will specifically say the EF platform is the hardest and most expensive to do a K Swap in. You will have to cut and weld, you will not have power steering and you will not have A/C. I don't know what your experience is with swaps and Honda's but please be sure you are serious before you start diving into it.

The reason you get the answers you got is simple. You could have searched and found the answer. Instead, you were lazy/uninformed and started a worthless thread. There are many EF K-series swap builds. There are write ups. There are plenty of websites dedicated to just this. There is no reason to start a thread on it the day you make your account. A K20 EF civic sedan doesn't make sense to me. The K20 makes it fast. The sedan makes it slow. If you are 'rolling 4 deep' as they say, your civic will be much slower. The plus side of sedans is usually the ability to transport people and overall comfort, which will not exist without A/C.

I can't see the image. I know what I said doesn't hold it's weight in everyone's opinion. But I'd start with a smaller, lighter, chassis if I was going for speed.
