97 civic LX pcv valve help
Hey guys iv replaced my oil chamber breather box with one from a si/ex a d16y8. im now trying too get the pvc valve into the box and its seeming too small for the cricle hole?
i dont know if im missing a plastic rubber or what? any information would help. do not wanna dismantle the intake manifold again.

lol yah have fun that thing is hard as fuq to press in I recommend taking the box off and then pressing in in that way. Don't see how else you would be able to get it in they're all tough to get in.
awh okay i just put everything back together from intake manifold to the brackets down too the exhaust, so iv been reaching up and forcing it in well trying too, so ill just try some more with force when im back at the hoist. thanks man

From the diagram above, it is possible that you are missing #2: 2000 Honda Civic EX - Grommet, PCV Valve = Part Number 11855-P72-000 Price: $3.32
It could also be that the chamber breather is damaged.
Is there evident damage to the breather box?

Hey thanks scott got it done, my grommet was actually too old,it broke into little pieces taking it out put a new one on and the valve never came out after nice and snug. My old chamber has rust all over it caused a dripping off oil.
