Default NEWBIE to the CRX/EG Civic Forum! Questions? Radius Rods/ Deckplate/zdyne

Yes, this will be my first time posting in this forum and I will continue to post on this forum from now on. I used to own a Streetable 92 Civic hatchback b18b Turbo. I blew the motor, sold turbo, took car off the streets, Building the 92 Civic hatchback into a Hot Rod/Quick Class Car for 2004. My beater car which was my Crx will now be my daily driver.

Quick Question?
1)
My crx was stolen from my job last month. It was recovered but when I tried to drive it off the lot, the crx will PULL HARD TO RIGHT. I checked under the car and saw that the passenger radius rod was cracked. <--- I am wondering would that cause the steering to pull to the right, because isn't true that Crx's need the radius rod/crossmember to keep the car's wheel's straigh?
2)
I have a golden Eagle Block w/Golden Eagle 3/4 Deck Plate LS/Vtec<--That would not fit under my hood right .
3) Honest Opinion about the Zdyne SECU?

Thankz.

I am usually in the Force Induction forum.
but now will be in the crx forum most of my time.

Who makes some good suspension parts for the crx, trailing arms, lower control arms, etc..

http://www.z10eng.com
anymore???

to answer #2, the LSvtec would fit under the hood. you just need some hasport or HCP or place racing B series mounts.

and the only company that i know that makes control arms for our cars is by the company called specialty products. you can see the control arms in this post:

1) maybe while runnign away the hit a curb, side walk, pot hole, well theres a bunch of stuff they coudl have hti and taken the car out of aligment... as for my experience, 4g HB are famous for having aligning problems.... change the radius first.. slow man said it good..

2) yes it will fit... just get the B mounts (breaka said it again)

3) IMO... Zdyne are great computers... i am getting my hands on a 1 wire conversion as soon i get the 320 bucks.... i saw a guy at a cruise in with a SECU. and he only had good things to say.. said it was as good as any Hondata....

Thankz for helping a new Crx forum person. i have owned 3 crx, and 3 eg hatchbacks. I went back and forth.

2) I really do not think it will fit. I have the golden eagle deck plate. for more power.

Suspension question: Lower control arm, dose specprod.com make them also.

why won't it fit? too tall? if you use hasport mounts, and then buy a ZC hood, you'll have clearance.. ZC hood adds like almost 2 inches plus of clearance..

When u use a b18b block with a Golden Eagle deck plate is adds about 3/4 of a inch to the block. IT wasn't going to fit in my eg hatchback so I was wondering if it would fit in the crx, and I am thinkinh it wont, most likely i will have to get a zc hood, I also have the hasport billet mounts with the race bushings. I went to the crx meet like last year, i rolled up in a red crx with my laptop.

Hey civicdrgrcr, this is Brandon from Santa Barbara. Just wondering why I have yet to receive my parts and why I have heard nothing from you. It as been many weeks now and I don't understand why I have heard nothing from you. $250 in parts is a lot to just forget about.

You will need a jdm style not a zc style with hasport mounts. The zc one only bumps up on the timming belt side. You need it bumped up for the whole v-cover. I have a jdm style fiber images carbon hood that's made for the usdm front end. If you need some pics just ask.
