Hey guys, I've been puttering around in a 99 Civic LX and just recently bought a 2013 Si. My intent is to keep the 99 Civic as a project/toy car. First thing I'd like to do is replace the suspension components.

I read through Liberteriat's post on suspension and I'd say thats a good start. My question is: do you ever replace the upper and lower arms assuming they're not rusted out or beat up?

As far as experience, I partook in the Texas A&M SAE Club 1993 Hatch Budget Racecar project for the 2009 Grassroots challenge. I did some suspension work on that project so I should hopefully remember something.

Thanks,

Fink
