Odd clicking when turning
IM hearing what i would usually hear with a bad axle...ive had my car jacked up and havent seen and thrown grease from a bad axle boot

While not a common occurence, a CV joint CAN fail without a loss of lubricant...if the joint is stressed enough, it can cause damage to a "spider" in the joint. You should also check that your axle nuts have been properly staked and arent loosening on you. aside from that, you may want to check your ball joints/endlinks/rotors for loose fitments/obstructions/foreign objects. good luck.
unless something is rubbing then there's nothing else it can really be that "clicks", clicking is one of the tell tail signs of a bad CV joint. no the boot doesn't have to be ripped or gone for it to go bad.
