Icon2 help installing head timing question

i have b16a2 in a 2000 civic si
i have skunk2 cams and buddy club cam gears pic below

okay so i have head off and all new valves were installed & valve seals.
got new head gasket and cam seals. but im kinda nervous doing this so i want to be sure im correct.

i bring #1 piston up to highest point then install head torque headstuds,
my question is which way do i install cams the 3 marks which one is TDC
and what should i torque head studs to i have arp headsatuds with 12 point nuts and washers. this will be the second time i torque them.

also can cam gears be degreed on camshaft to top dead center without having them in the head
thanks.

lol they came with instructions you know the stock headstud torque spec is 61ft lbs so afaik the arp's are just above that. there is NO NEED for cam gears with the tuner series from skunk and when setting to TDC you want to go by the side tick marks.

Bump also I took head nuts out and removed head the studs stayed in there should I loosen in order and retorque in 3 steps, or should I just torque them up to spec once no loosening.
I I have a new head gasket down. Head is on the block.

The buddy club logo goes down but you can read it normal.

The three lines 9, 12, 3 o'clock with the degree marks center facing 10 o'clock.

You not specified what cams you have but the old version skunk 2 cams are like any other race cam it need to be installed using a degree wheel to get the cam potential. (I read somewhere the new design is drop in, not sure on this.)

If they are tuner series you don't even need the gears. If you want shiny cam gears then use the buddy club set to zero.

Just install them as regular b16 cams.

First off the actual stud should be lubed with arp lube and HAND tightened into block.

Then torque them down to 80 ft lbs with provided arp grease.

I do 3 steps in torque

30/60 and final is 80 ft lbs

yes hylaxrng, just do the three differnet lbs incriments, but be sure u follow the book sequence pattern. if you dont have a book, freak out, then google it, then if u dont find it freak out some more and then treat it like a wheel bolt pattern and hope for the best haha
