B18 trans problems

Default B18 trans problems

Hey guys i have an 00 civic with a b18a1 and an s80 trans out of a 94 integra. My question is my car just stopped moving but when the trans is in gear the speedo still moves. Ideas?

broken axle or broken diff.

Ok any ideas on how to check other than ripping out the trans?

You will notice one of the axles turning, either the inboard joint or the shaft, the outer joint is prone to breakage. If you do not see an inner joint or one of the axles turn, you have a broken differential.
