First take out climate control unit... use a dremel to shave it down to so it will fit in tape deck area



put come mfd to make it fit nicely:



use bondo and paint:





Wires and cable all fit find when putting it back. Be careful with the cable make sure you move the slider both ways.

Then for the ipad mini...

buy this kit:

cut out your dash (in the picture below i was going to do a 2din to mod you need to cut the bottom out too. I epoxied the mounts on to the fifield kit instead.



put the kit in and fiberglass around. I used a dremel to round the kits corners as it will hang over the dash. You kind of have to mold to the sides.



use bondo with fiber and then bondo and start sanding:



sand sand sand

prime and fill:


sand again fix it and it look pretty. then finish it off:



to get the cable in right... I put the ipad in and align it will ipad was charging I epoxied the cable

Install a sony with app remote in your glove box

Put everything in! Will update with daytime photo.
