My personal experience has been limited to stock cams like gsr/itr and 1 set of comp all motor cams that I run in my turbo motor now.

In these situations above the cams only allowed power production to approx. 8500 rpm. However after that the power level tends to plateau out and continue to carry that power level onwards of 10k without tapering off.

I am not sure if other people are having better luck actually making more power past that RPM level with the more popular and more expensive cams on the market like Web/Skunk2/DragCartel/etc. but I would imagine that is likely.

What cams are you currently running?

It's going to depend on the set up because they are all different.

Here's mine.

I m running S2Pro 1' , Ferrea valves, springs, retainers

What about rod/piston speed past 9800rpm? We are hitting more than 93ft per second, is there risk for engine?

I peak at 9400ish and shift at 10200ish. Air flow is totally diff on the track compared to the dyno.
