I am thinking about updating my steering wheel but I want/need to keep the airbags. Any ideas? Is it possible?

Update as in newer? You'd need to state what car you have first.

Personally I'd leave it alone.

Usaully your best bet is to source a higher model verion from Japan or Europe, that is leather wrapped. I did this for my crx and ek

lol keep air bags....p$%sy get a NRG quick release hub so you can hang it out the window for maaaaad JDM points.

no srs get a quick release it's fun to show off to your friends.

 

Yeah and he won't pass safety inspections so this means absolutely nothing. OP check out the link that was provided, I did and it's got most everything you'd need to know.

 

He ignored my post too. Many oversea's oem wheels have airbags, its a great option....oh well

 

lol funny my civic passed Ontario safety with a NRG quick release horn works and everything. depends where you live/how strict the garage is, I've seen some pretty lenient ones.

my track car is another story tho.
