getting leftover dirt and grim off valve cover
Hey guys, im trying to prep up my valve cover for some jdm wrinkle paint!!
I used aircraft remover and the paint fell right off, and i used Either 600-400 sandpaper and degreaser, and some came off, but theres more. Used a dremel with bronze wheel, didnt do much.. What do you painters use for getting them to the bare metal with no dirt or grim?

Nvm, i watched it. But since its a vtec cover, getting down by the spark plug holes are a bitch. Anything for that?
Ok, ill try that out also man. Im wondering if i just wash the valve cover, could i jus paint it like that. Of course i wont do that, but how clean does the surface have to be?

Wire brush, or wire wheel on a drill works real good. Afterwards you can buy some metal polish and use a polish wheel and it will look really good afterwards.
brake cleaner has acetone which is a paint remover. that mixed in a high pressure aerosol can makes it much more easy to remove paint and grim from tight spots. I use it to clean 17year old baked on dust from intake manifold. ..works super nice.
