Default Huge compression problem

I have a 00 si, compression a crossed the board
Cyl
1-60
2-90
3-150
4-0 add oil into cyl and redo and it jumped to 15 I had
Someone tell me it was rings, then a very reputable
Honda guy say he honks it may be in the head. About to
Start the tear down. Any guesses as to what it is?

I assume you did this test with no plugs in the head and at Wide Open Throttle?

That isn't rings. That's a blown to **** head gasket, and possibly a damaged block, head, or valves. It's time for you to prepare for a FULL rebuild, or possibly a replacement.

Funny how threads like this never explain what may have happened prior to suspecting a problem, ie, racing, pushing rpm's into redline, etc... background would be nice OP... and did you check at WOT and no plugs...

It's the valves they're burnt or warped..... HG's don't cause compression loss to that degree, just replace the valves I had the same issue on my dx a year ago simple valve job and I was set.

Thank you guys for the help. I'm gonna pull the head off and check the valves. And the compression test was done with plugs in cyl. That wasn't being tested. And no it wasn't at w.o.t.

And sorry pity I didn't think you would want the history of the car. I don't really think that matters a while lot. But thank you for no input.
