95 del sol vtec-e, ECU problems
i bought this 1995 honda del sol a few years back for a winter car, runs great in the snow with all four studed snows!, the transmission started to go bad so i swapped it out with a different transmission i beleive it had shorter gear ratios, during the swap i must of grounded my ecu out or something because when i got it back on the shop floor it had no spark, i had an electrician look at it asweel and diagnosed a ecu. This was atleast a year back that i was working on the car, i left for california to race and free ride dirtbikes for awhile. anyways now im back working on the car and i have the ecu that i beleive it the one i pulled out of the car part#37820-p06-a02, i also have another i dont have the part number on hand but i beleive it was the wrong one that i picked up at a junkyard.
So i have a 1995 honda del sol vtec-e. is 37820-p06-a02 the correct ecu i need to purchase for this car?

The other ecu I have for the car that I Bellevue is the wrong one I bought at a junkyard is part number 37820-pt6-a52,
Any information will be greatly appreciated, I have tried searching everywhere to no avail, maybe my knowledge on the subject isn't sufficient, if anyone has any questions about the car that would help you help me. This car is goin to end up in a scrap yard if I can't find the right ecu

which engine do you have?
This may help once you/we know which actual engine it is. and not "vtec-e" the actual D1xxx code on the block.

The engine code on the block reads d15z1, under that code it reads 2300357, there is a good chance this motor was swapped in, when I purchased the car I had to install front motor mounts
Thanks, Johnny

Just in case you didn't know the P07 looks for a 5 wire 02 and some egr components if you don't already have then installed it's going to throw a check engine light.
So I just installed the p07 and unfortunately I still have no spark, I have power to the fuses,to the ecu plugs, to the distributor cap, but still no spark. Any ideas?
Thanks is again for the help

have you checked the ground wire from the gearbox to the body ?? did you put it back on when you changed the box (tranny) and make sure its tight at both ends like bolted down tight
there's two plugs to my distributor, the plug with 6 or 7 wires has power, the 2 wire plug has power two only one if the two wires. should there be power to both? im becoming stumped and not sure what to do
