Default d16z6Tcrx 12.4@107.66 1.8 DD

Took the car to the track yesterday before it closed. been dialing in this setup all year. last time out it went 13.86 @ 99mph with a bad bog and slipping clutch. switched over to the exedy stage one and got aggressive with the tune. Street raced it a lil bit and got excited about how it was running. Took it to the track yesterday with goals of running a 12.9x-13.1 and be happy with it. first pass went 12.4@107. Beyond pleased. total shock. this was the best pass of the day. backed it up with a 12.6@ 106.

96 cx uncut full glass removed rear sears and plastic.

Congrats that's a great slip for such a simple setup. How much does the car weigh with driver and what rpm/tire psi combo are you launching at?

Its never been on the scale. Its uncut full interior minus rear seats n plastics. Full heat n wipers all glass. Ran 22s on bogart flystars. Psi was best at 10. Any lower would bog hard.

This is very impressive. Simple and works. Gives me tons of confidence in the B20V setup I'm building and want to see 12's with.
What tranny are you running?
With a nice ported head and a better header I think an 11 could be in reach.

thanks! its a itr trans with 4.7. i think with a higher launch and better track prep it could have went a 12.2x. i will be porting the head over the winter and swapping in a built b20.
looking into a plm header too.

judging by your hp, my guesstimation of weight and your 60ft e.t. and mph you've produced so far, I wouldnt se that much of an improvement from a higher launch and better prep. your 60ft is awesome and your mph is about spot on with your hp numbers

if u listen to the video it dead hooked off the launch n died the motor down a few hundred rpm. same tire pressure and 3/400 rpm more would have taken .02/3 off the 60 an maybe .03/4 off the 330. also the track was cold. (40 deg) but never the less im very happy with the .4x
