Default 2005 Accord EX Clutch gives out, 2nd time

The 1st time was in 2007, simply refused to accelerate anymore. I am the sole owner, I don't slam or grind my gears, so I contacted Honda in search of a recall, but they insisted there were none. So I had to eat it and got an Exedy stage 1 kit, couldn't afford the installation price at the time so I had an auto academy's students do the work for $200...felt a little rough from time to time, but it worked...this time there was actual SMOKE coming from my hood, and it stank like heel, but again, I hadn't been slamming or grinding, so I'm clueless as to why it failed again...has anyone else had similar problems?

Slamming or grinding gears isn't going to hurt the clutch. Riding the clutch will. Do you keep your foot on the clutch while driving?

And if the first one got "smoked" and the flywheel wasn't addressed when installing the second......well there could be an issue.

I don't ride thee clutch either...I've spoken to a few mech's including one
Honda Master Mech. It seems like a hydraulic issue which hopefully wont
destroy my pockets before the holiday...kids don't understand parents needs
during this time of year...lls
