Default boost

I have a b16b , just put a ebay turbo on it, my boost comes in at 4000 rpm(too soon) and hit 12 psi at 5500, how do i adjust my boost to hit 12 psi later? my red line is 8600 rpm, and want to hit my boost at 6500 or close to this? do i change waste gate springs?

Not sure as why you want it to come in later, seems strange

you would need an electronic boost controller to manage boost pressure like that... and even then you can't make it spool slower (I guess you could if you had the gate open sooner and faster but you would need a very low psi wastegate spring, like 3-4psi because it takes pressure to open the wastegate... with that low pressure spring you could have the ems open the wastegate sooner and open it faster so boost builds slower) but how boost builds is based on turbocharger size and there's nothing you can do about that aside from getting a larger turbine housing.

What sort of fuel system/engine management do you have? Because you can't run boost on a stock ecu nor go above 10psi on the stock map sensor.... and very soon that ebay turbo will fail, making all of this a moot point.

and I don't know why you would want only 2000rpm of power... that makes no sense. the car will suck to drive on the streets and on the track...

There's no way to make that turbo spool that late, unless you get a larger turbine housing (useless on an ebay turbo that WILL fail sooner than later) or got a larger turbo.

and pressure doesn't mean **** to us... what size turbo are you running and what are your hp/tq goals?

I assume this is for traction control. Smaller wastegate spring and an electronic boost controller will allow you to manage boost.
