1992 civic hatch. Wrecked in front, looks like strut towers forward. Looking at the parts list from hatch and sedan, everything is same except the tranny mount. Has anyone gone this route before? Is anything else different?

 

why would you try to fix it? You can pick them up for less than $500

 

Because of all the stuff I have swapped on this one. Plus this one does not have to be smogged. Yes I agree they can be found cheap, cheapest one I have found around me was $900. Rear quarters both fubared and left front needed some work.

 

swap all your parts over to a new shell then
