1994 honda accord serious problem

Icon2 1994 honda accord serious problem

I changed my heater core the other day and after putting it back to gather my rpm gauge doesn't work or temp gauge and my windows don't work and my cruise control button doesn't turn on or rear defrost and my car wont let me shift out of park. can someone tell me what I did wrong. please help

Sounds like you either missed a few electrical connections or possibly popped a few fuses. Check, electrically, that all fuses are good, check that the brake pedal switch is connected and work from there.

well I took the top of the dash back out and checked all the connections and I sure all of them are back to were the need to be but the electrical plug that goes to the clock on the dash I plug it in the plug that goes to the cigarette lighter and if I turn my lights on my windows and rpm gauge and temp gauge will work but if I hit my brakes it will cut back off. please help

Check fuses,
But I think you connected something the wrong way. The connection on the cluster probably since they look the same.

Start by disconnecting whatever you touched and isn't necessary like clock, lighter, cruise and others. The car should work without those and start from there. The idea is to get to the point in which it would start. Don't forget to turn the car off before connecting and disconnecting

Last time I disconnected my cluster I kept labels on connections

There should be a couple connectors that connect the dash to the fuse box assembly on the driver side under the dash and a couple more behind the dash in the middle. Sounds like you either forgot to plug something all the way in or you tore something pulling the dash out.
